AlliedMesh Self-Furring Dimple Lath is manufactured from galvanized steel sheet and formed into an expanded metal pattern with raised 1/4" dimples. This raised profile creates a consistent space between the lath and the supporting surface, helping stucco and plaster materials develop a secure mechanical key around the metal mesh.

What does "self-furring" mean?
Self-furring lath has dimples pressed into the sheet that hold it about 1/4" (6 mm) away from the wall. This lets stucco or plaster flow behind the lath and fully embed it, without separate furring strips.
What weights and sizes are available?
Standard sheets are 27" × 96" in 2.5 lb/yd² and 3.4 lb/yd², galvanized for exterior stucco. Other sizes and weights can be produced for OEM orders.
Where is dimple lath used?
It is used over sheathing, concrete block and masonry for three-coat stucco, cement plaster and adhered stone veneer.
