AlliedMesh Self-Furring V-Groove Lath is produced from galvanized steel and formed into an expanded metal sheet with raised V-shaped ribs along its length. The structured profile creates a consistent furring space between the lath and the supporting surface, providing a practical base for stucco, plaster and other cement-based finishing systems.
The V-groove design combines an open expanded metal surface with defined raised ribs, helping finishing materials engage with the lath while providing convenient areas for fastening. How is V-groove lath different from dimple lath?
V-groove lath has continuous V-shaped grooves pressed along the sheet instead of dimples. The grooves stiffen the sheet and provide the furring space, making it easier to keep flat during installation.
What sizes and weights are available?
The standard sheet is 27" × 96" in 2.5 lb/yd² and 3.4 lb/yd², galvanized. Custom sizes can be made for OEM orders.
What applications is it suited to?
V-groove lath is used for exterior stucco and interior plaster over sheathing, masonry and concrete, and as a base for adhered stone and tile.
How is it packed?
Sheets are bundled (typically 10 per bundle) and stacked on steel pallets with your labels and pallet quantities.
