High Rib Lath
High rib lath is an expanded metal lath with raised V-shaped ribs running along the sheet. The ribs add stiffness, so the lath can span wider supports with less backing than flat expanded metal lath.
It is commonly used as permanent formwork for concrete construction joints, and as a base for plaster or stucco over open framing, ceilings and walls. Available specifications may include different sheet sizes, rib styles, weights and finishes. The right choice depends on the support spacing, the application and the project requirements.
